{"id":715,"date":"2023-02-20T11:04:37","date_gmt":"2023-02-20T09:04:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.biodiversityeducation.fi\/?page_id=715"},"modified":"2025-02-11T11:15:25","modified_gmt":"2025-02-11T09:15:25","slug":"quidance","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs2.uef.fi\/biodiversityeducation-vanha\/en\/studies\/quidance\/","title":{"rendered":"Guidance"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p id=\"block-be789d2d-7253-41d0-b604-cbdab690a6c1\"><strong>The courses offered by the Biodiversity education network are available for the degree students of the Universities of Eastern Finland, Turku, Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4, Oulu and Helsinki and \u00c5bo Akademi University.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-1d2d43ac-c83a-4550-9606-1900c0223db7\">The courses offer possibilities for the students to learn more about biodiversity-related topics on the courses which are not being taught by their own universities. There are courses for different levels and there might be limitations in the number of students accepted for the courses. Alist of the courses available can be found in the Studies-page, and there are also links to the course curricula.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-9addafd5-e48b-4d9f-a867-f922cd9de123\">The courses are meant for increasing students\u2019 knowledge and they cannot be accepted as a minor subject. Students have to discuss with their supervisors beforehand to agree on studying these courses and to be able to include the courses in their degrees. Students should apply separately for every course they are interested in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To be able to apply for the right to study these courses, you need to<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>be a student in one of the participating universities,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>discuss with your study supervisor about the courses you would like to include in your degree<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>use the email address given by your university in the application<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note, that there might be limitations in the number of students accepted for the courses and obtaining the study right doesn\u2019t automatically mean that you will be accepted for the course.
