The course offers basic understanding of jurisdiction and conflicts of laws through contemporary substantive law issues, such as internet security, intellectual property, virtual contracting, social media networks, privacy as well as data protection.<\/p>\n<p>At the completion of this course, students will have an overview of international agreements on solving global issues as well as international guidelines (soft law) that influence national or EU internet law. They will have in-depth knowledge of contracting practices or policies of major global or national internet service providers, which are analysed and compared during the course exercises.
